Series AR51: Heavy-Duty Loaded Rod U-Cup Seal with Active Backup Ring
The AR51 Series is a heavy-duty polyurethane seal with multiple features that include a double-lipped U-cup design, an internal O-ring energizer and a reinforced backup ring on the heel. This seal is ideal for pressure spikes and large extrusion gaps common in mining applications.
APPLICATIONS
The AR06 Series U-Cup, due to its versatility as both a piston and rod seal, can be used in a wide variety of applications. Recommended where dynamic sealing action is required simultaneously on the inside and outside diameters. Examples are often encountered in specialty sensors, bolt tension equipment and hollow cylinders.
